Strawberry improves brain function, lowers blood pressure and prevents cardiovascular disease. Strawberry carbohydrates are mainly made up of fibre and simple sugars and do not cause a large increase in blood sugar levels.

Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C, an antioxidant essential for a healthy immune system and skin. They also contain manganese, a trace element often found in large quantities in whole-grain products, legumes, fruit and vegetables and essential for many bodily processes. Another hidden treasure in the strawberries in Ceylon Middle Leaf Green Tea is potassium. This mineral is linked to many essential bodily functions, such as regulating blood pressure.

Kiwi tea - sounds sour, but it's not! The kiwi fruit has a thin, fuzzy, fibrous but edible skin and light green or golden flesh with rows of tiny, black, edible seeds. It has a delicate texture with a sweet and unique flavour.

The kiwifruit in Ceylon Middle Leaf Green Tea is an excellent source of vitamin C and contains more of this valuable vitamin than lemon. Regular consumption of vitamin C strengthens the immune system. It is also full of nutrients such as vitamin K, vitamin E, folate and potassium. Kiwifruit is a good source of fibre with a high antioxidant content.

It is thought that the high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants in kiwifruit may help treat asthma sufferers. One study in 2000 found that those who regularly consumed fresh fruit, including kiwifruit, had a beneficial effect on lung function. Just 1 cup of kiwifruit provides about 273 percent of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C. A cup of Ceylon medium leaf green tea combined with a healthy and proper diet will give your body a boost of vigour and vitality!
